Feel Good Future helps teens learn how voting works and preregister before they turn 18. We provide digital tools, training sessions, and creative ways to take early civic action.

Feel Good Future is built on years of collaboration with organizations across the youth civic engagement and preregistration movement.
In 2024, Feel Good Action partnered with The Civics Center on a preregistration initiative that generated significant voter actions. Through that work, we saw firsthand the power of preregistration and the impact of teen civic action. The Civics Center remains a leading force in the preregistration space, especially through its deep partnerships with schools and educators.
In 2025, we launched Feel Good Future using our digital-first approach to build awareness of preregistration, demonstrate its power and impact, and ultimately get more teens preregistered. We help teens take action online and in their communities. Our work is shaped by the teens and partners who make it possible. We partner with teens to reach and engage their peers, while equipping communities, educators, and organizations with ready-to-use digital tools to support teens and expand access to preregistration.
In 2026, this collaborative energy sparked National Preregistration Day, an annual nationwide day of action that unites organizations around businesses shared goal: making preregistration simple, visible, celebratory, and accessible for every eligible teen.
At Feel Good Action, we champion preregistration because stronger voter participation begins long before a teen casts their first ballot. Feel Good Future brings together organizations, educators, advocates, and young people to build the pipeline that prepares teens for lifelong civic participation and voting .
Every year, nearly 4 million young people become eligible to vote for the first time. Yet only about 30% are registered when they turn 18, leaving nearly 2.8 million new eligible voters each year outside the pipeline to lifelong voting before they even cast their first ballot. By comparison, approximately 1.2 million young people are registered when they become eligible, and nearly 1 million of them (82%) go on to vote. Every teen who preregisters strengthens the pipeline to lifelong voting.

Support teens directly with preregistration: host preregistration moments at schools, sporting events, community gatherings, proms, or even birthday parties, and create space for conversations about local issues that matter.
